If You Are New to CrossFit

The free intro class is your first step to improved health.  In the free intro class we provide you with the following information:

  • A tour of our gym
  • An overview on CrossFit and our philosophy on fitness
  • An explanation of how a CrossFit workout is structured and what to expect
  • An overview of the fundamentals course and the next steps
  • An explanation of our membership options
  • A beginner workout

Step 2 | Enroll in our Fundamentals Program

Our Fundamentals Program is a five-session program where you will properly learn the foundational movements of CrossFit.  These classes are filled exclusively with beginners who are learning the various exercises we use.  All five classes are required to join our regular group program.  In the fundamentals program we keep the classes small to ensure that you are receiving personal attention and learning the movements properly.  At Switch CrossFit, safety is our top concern, and by the end of this program you will know how to properly perform each exercise with appropriate form and movement.

Step 3 | Join the Group Program

The final step in getting started is to join the regular group program.  The group program is what CrossFit is known for and is the core component of our gym community.

If You Have CrossFit Experience

If you want to check out the gym just give us a ring.  If you know you want to join, then save some time and click on the link above to get a membership set up from the comfort of home.

Step 2 | Test out of the Fundamentals program

We believe you when you say you have experience, but we have learned that some gyms just don’t teach proper form.  In order to join the regular population you’ll need to do a quick test with one of our instructors.  Nothing crazy here, but we want to see that you have the fundamental movements down and are doing them with appropriate form and range of motion.

Drop-in Policy for Visitors

If you are visiting from out of town and have CrossFit experience you are more than welcome to join us for a workout. You must contact us ahead of time or sign up for a drop-in on our schedule prior to showing up. DO NOT SHOW UP UNANNOUNCED, we have limits to our class sizes and will have to turn you away if the class is full. We charge $20 to drop-in or $25 and you get a free shirt!
